Bushfire planning

South Hobart Football Club has been a proud part of the South Hobart community for over a century and we care deeply for our community and their safety. We are lucky to be surrounded by beautiful bush but with that can come risk. You need to have a plan.

Are you prepared for a bushfire? Have you thought about what you would pack if you needed to evacuate your house? It’s hard to make good decisions when you are under pressure, so having a well thought-out plan is essential.

Sparking Conversations, Igniting Action is a joint initiative of the Greater Hobart councils – Clarence, Glenorchy, Hobart and Kingborough. They work within these communities to spark conversations, and ignite action that will help to protect us all from bushfire. South Hobart is one of their target areas.

They will have a tent set up at this Saturday’s home game
 D’Arcy St from 1 - 3pm.
